Muddy River

Meandering through the Back Bay Fens Park in Boston, MA is the aptly named Muddy River. This view, looking south-ish, is where the river runs parallel to the Fenway road. 'The Fens' (as the area is better known by) is one of the 'jewels' of Boston's Emerald Necklace, an interconnected series of urban parks originally designed and created by Frederick Law Olmstead in the latter part of the 19th century.
