The street name reminds me that, back in the 70s, there used to be a girl who walked up and down Boylston Street near the Pru, asking people for "bus fare" home to West Springfield, presumably the town about a 100 miles west of Boston. The third or fourth time she came up to me (over several months) I asked if she was "still trying to get home." But maybe she lived here, before gentrification and not even a mile from the Pru, and just used the name in her scam.
